Water treatment MCC for a UK water company.

3200A Incomer (left) and buscoupler (right) for a UK based factory (food industry). The incomer is close coupled to the transformer via the connecting bars as shown. Other sections have already been delivered. The buscoupler is designed to have an overhead bridge fitted, at a later date, so the board can be extended easily.

Test assembly of the transformer enclosure in our works before painting. This unit is designed to be shipped in sections for ease of site assembly, so the next time it goes together will be when it is coupled to the incomer and have the transformer installed. Rolla also provide a full kit of busbars to connect it all together.

The access doors allow inspection, maintenance and tap changing, with other sections being removable to allow the transformer to be replaced.

Large drive cubicles which form part of a large pumping station Motor Control Centre. Built in two legs, and connected with an overhead busbar bridge, the total lengths were 6.5m and 8m, with a bridge spanning 2.4m between the two front faces.

Fixed pattern board being used as a turbine auxiliary board. One of the starters is DC powered to act as the engine starter motor.

2 extension cubicles for a board supplied last year which is on site and working.

Special height MCC 400mm shorter than normal due to site limitations. The three sections in the centre are for variable speed drives.

Motor Control Centre for a waste water treatment works in Yorkshire.

Small MCC due to end up in a pumping station in Turriff (Aberdeenshire). This board is also shorter than standard - by 200mm.

Back-to-back sections from 3 boards destined for a waste to recycling plant. Each board is between 4 and 5m long, and is double-fronted to make maximum use of floor space.

Withdrawable MCC due to go to Northern Russia when wiring is complete. Incomer is 1000A MCCB. This was a rush job, which was manufactured in just 2 weeks from approval.
