Small MCC for a UK water project

Part of a Rolla Utility Control Centre (UCC50) for a UK water treatment plant. The 3 drives are regen type variable speed, rated at 90KW each. Incomers and buscoupler not shown - completed length will be 8m.

Internal view of a typical soft start cubicle, all busbars by Rolla.

 

Fuseswitch 630A (Socomec), followed by contactor and soft start unit (Rockwell) with outgoing connections at the bottom.

 

The motors are rated 240KW - we supplied two of these as part of a UK pumping station upgrade project.

 

Our customer will now add all the small wiring.

Part of a rear access Motor Control Centre for a major UK treatment works upgrade. This board includes 2 corner units so it fits in the space available, with a total length of 15m

A Rolla Front Access Utility Control Centre (UCC25) for a Yorkshire Water treatment works project.

 

 

 

 

Extension cubicle to add a feeder to an existing 2000A switchboard.

 

We supplied the original in 1993, and were able to make the new extension match in size, colour and using our KATTA busbar system.

 

The site is in Anglesey, North Wales.

 

This is the rear view, showing the busbar connections to the top, and the outgoing cable facility below.

10m long UCC25 Motor Control Centre - this is for the inlet works of a Sewage Treatment Works for Severn Trent Water, and is fully intelligent without local indications on each starter, just a common HMI screen per suite, and telemetry to the remote control centre.

 

Above are Incomers and buscoupler for a substation replacement project at a UK factory.

The original switchboard which is being replaced is around 50 years old.

To the right is one of the PFC sections.

Below are the transformer enclosures before paint - they are assembled then split for painting and transport to site. Rolla supply a full kit of parts including all copper bars and supports to connect to the transformer.

When complete the board will be 14.5m long.
